Why you'd want to live in Sunnyside
Bounded by I-70 to the north, the Union Pacific Railroad line to the east, 38th Avenue to the south, and Federal Boulevard to the west, this North Denver neighborhood is full of down-home charm. Although it still has some industrial edges along the north side, the recent revitalization of this area has brought new life to its cozy neighborhood feel. With the recent influx of development, new shops and breweries, fabulous restaurants and the introduction of Denver's new light rail line, the narrow streets are bursting with potential. As many Denver residents relocate up from the heavily saturated (and higher priced) Highland neighborhood, Sunnyside continues to see its historic bungalows yield to some of the more modern new-builds sweeping through North Denver. Residents enjoy its neighborly charms as children play in the street and ride bikes on quiet tree-lined streets, while welcoming front porches and neighborhood bistros give it some of the walkability it was missing. Sunnyside is definitely one of Denver's up-and-coming neighborhoods, and one that boasts easy and convenient access to all of Denver's amenities.
